So it has been a while since I posted here, far from being dead I have just been REALLY busy. Doing a lot of BackTrack 5 r2 Research and work.
So through my numerous labs I have been doing for learning new things and refreshing my memory on old. I have decided that the best way to learn better is to share. So coming soon....this coming week I will post tutorials with screen shots of various BackTrack & Linux thing you can do. The tutorials will range from simple (how to set a static IP on an interface to the more interesting such as packet injection etc.)
Now why am I doing this? I believe in educating others. Good security is attained through knowledge, teaching and sharing what we learn. Just look at Kahn Academy. So I hope this blog will become the White Hat Hacker version for security professionals.
I would like to add that all tutorials you will see will also have been tested in my own Linux lab set-up to make sure I do not just show you the how but also what went wrong and the solutions which were found. I will make every effort to post one new tutorial per week. As of today I have a lot of notes and labs already completed which I will recreate for the tutorials.
If you have any suggestions or questions please feel free to post.
Peace Out
